Eduardo Avellar

Eduardo Avellar was born in Sao Paulo, in 1974 and is a composer, music producer and tonmeister. He graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista and Faculdade Santa Marcelina and had the opportunity to study with Edmundo Villani-Côrtes, Eduardo Escalante and Sérgio de Vasconcellos-Corrêa. Avellar produced CDs of Hans-Joachim Koellreutter, Gilberto Mendes and Boudewijn Buckinx, among other composers and musicians - as Marco Alcantara. Avellar's music is connected to post and transmodernity - in solos, chamber, orchestra and electroacoustic. His works were played in Brazil, South America and Europe.
